Bidrage med feedbackAmazing cocktails. they had a large cocktail menu with baptism of options, but also the options were very different and not the usual run of the mill aromen. we have tried three different types. six in total and they were all very good. the food was just in order. beautiful but nothing amazing
We had a celebratory dinner on a rainy midweek evening at this restaurant, which had recently been renovated. The old owner mentioned that he had no reservations. The new menu was described as exciting, with fusion Thai dishes, but in reality, it was uninspired Thai cuisine (I have a home in Thailand). The only drinks available were alcoholic, with the exception of Wednesdays when a slurping panda was featured. BYO options were limited, with only three excellent choices available nearby.
The Slurping Panda may not have the most fitting name, but the food is delicious and the service is friendly and efficient. The cuisine has a unique Asian influence that sets it apart from the rest.
Although the waiter was attractive, we were served two lukewarm soups with uncooked vegetables and raw meat. Normally, pho includes a boiling broth in which the thinly sliced meat can cook. We had to send them back because they were inedible. It seems like they must have just microwaved them, as the ceramic bowls were too hot to touch and the meat was not cooked properly. Overall, a very disappointing dining experience. We will not be returning.
We went once and kept going back but with friends attached. The menu is genuine Asian food and the atmosphere reminded me of an Asian street cafe. The Rendang can be as hot as you like and the Laksa a treat. It's been a while...since I have had a good Nasi Goreng so ended up having it on two consecutive visits. Check out the menu for other great delights. It is gluten free friendly which is a must in my household so there will be more visits to come. If you like to drink, don't get carried away as it can be costly! You have been warned.
