A successful business gives out what clients are looking for and being a local Burleigh boy I continually support restaurants who do. So looking at the site’s photos of table cloths, e-candles, live music, great deserts, I took my interstate guests to a very disappointing venue.I saw none of what was in the site photos.The venue wasnt busy and yet our waitress pestered us persistently over ordering and when served surpisingly quickly, my rigatoni al ragu di vitello was anything but.. ie, rigatoni is not penne and ragu di vitello needs the veal to make it a dish, not 5 small fatty morsels mixed into the ragu. The pizzas certainly were a waste of time.What really grates is then being ignored by staff walking in and out of the rear door past our long finished plates. No wine was ever poured, no desert menue or request was ever made and what really grated was being asked on paying “how did you enjoy your meals?”.. just a joke.. the Burleigh bowls dance floor and wines around the corner managed to sedate our disapointment.

Start to finish fantastic, gnocchi was superb. Best Italian I’ve had on the gc for a long time

A very enjoyable evening with wonderful service from the team Delicious authentic Italian gnocchi, pasta and pizza meals. Cannot wait to visit again
