Bob’s Big Boy - Burbank

I was completely satisfied with the food I ordered. Not so enthusiastic w/the services provided the counter sit or I will give him a 5. Steven, the waiter was 'only' to do his job w/no character... not responsive or communicative when he asked about certain food items on the menu. he just couldn't answer! It's about hospitality to earn your tips! Even if I'm a person who always taps well! I wanted to order a burger, like most of others or an Omelet...yet ordered a Cobb Salad. OMG, I'm glad I did it! It's a fresh tasty pleasure! I also ordered Waffle, which was not disappointed! The waffle that is much better than most other places came in crispy outside still delicate inside. It goes perfectly w/generous portion butter served w/regular syrup... no maple flavor. I didn't use it for his high sugar content, and I'm in heaven! Food quality is surprisingly good. I have to come back for dinner.

What a great location and wonderful diner. Bob has just transported me to another dimension in the timeless comfort of a long-term diner. If this is a time in LA, if not even a plate of pasta is regularly affordable under $20 in LA, this place offers dishes at a reasonable price and the food is well generous portions. My Hamburger was a simple classic American cheeseburger combination with frits and a salad. It wasn't the burger of my life, and exactly what I expected. Just an uncomplicated classic and good. Adding a chocolate malt milkshake was a perfect end to the meal. Oh, if you like goods, they have a good selection of teas, stickers, patches, cups and kinks that would make perfect LA souvenirs. Here I would like to take a tourist who wants a real American experience in LA.

I come here at least 2 times a month or more regularly. I have a love hate relationship with this place. For food it is always consistently good and has a good choice. I go to the favorites are the Chili Spaghetti or the super big boy combo. Both I highly recommend and the costs are reasonable. If you are going for the super big boy combo, I would like to call it a commitment burger, because it's almost hard to put down and get back so you're obliged to keep it, so it doesn't matter. The combo comes with fries and a salad. For the chili spaghetti always comes with soup or salad for the soup I usually for the vegetables beef. The chili spaghetti does not always look super attractive, but then again chili on spaghetti, but it has great taste on it. The thing I complain about is sometimes inconsistent with the service and sometimes no matter whether you? yourself or a big party you wait left to order or even just a refill for a drink. Later everything was great.

My family and I go here about once a month or so and the service is always good, depending on the server. Today we sat outside and had great service. I usually get the Super Big Boy with avocado and bacon, but today I ordered the California Strawberry and Chicken Salad. It was delicious and let me figure out how to make it home. After our lunch we all shared a Hot Fudge Cake that is a must if you have room after your meal.

Bob's Big Boy: a very nice old style diner. We went in for a milkshake. Ordered it, got it and drank it. It tasted like a good milkshake should. ? The friendly staff and the atmosphere made it compleet. I would definitely recommend a visit!
