Guzman y Gomez - Bundaberg

The food is terrible and the staff are not much better. The prices are way too high for the quality of the food. I was shocked when I saw the price of the kids' meals and had to ask my sister how much she paid for them. I even wondered why they don't just give them away for free. This is definitely one of the worst places I have ever eaten at, and in my opinion, it feels like I am being robbed. If I could, I would give this place half a star.

I have never had a good meal at Gizmo & Gomez (just a little joke of mine). Today I decided to just get a snack - fries. They say if it's not broken, don't fix it. Fries, or chips as Australians would call them, should be simple and foolproof, but apparently not for the employees at Gizmo & Gomez. Mexican food is actually my favorite cuisine. We used to have a fantastic local Mexican restaurant here, but unfortunately they were closed down by another chain, Montezuma's. I don't have anything against chains, but the owners of the franchise here were not great and have since closed their doors.

Discusting and expensive. SO OVERATED, people will tell you it's amazing but trust me they're suckers for terrible mexican food.

The staff at this establishment are not very friendly and the food is not very nice. Very disappointed , will not be going back again.

As a lover of Mexican food I have now eaten here three times and continue to be disappointed despite having tried many different dishes. Having said that the burritos are fairly good but the other dishes I've tried I have not enjoyed.The last time I went my husband and I ordered the burrito bowls with sour cream and guacamole. We received a squirt of sour cream and about a teaspoon of guacamole for which we paid extra, on top of two small bowls of burrito mixture which was oversalted. A really miserable serving for $15 each. The meal was served in plastic containers with plastic cutlery which is ok if the food is value for money.Will only return if this restaurant increases serving sizes, lessens the amount of salt in the food, and gives a decent spoonful of sour cream and guacamole when ordered as extras.
