Offroad Diner - Bullhead City

Ticket #40121 12/29/2022 Until this visit my wife and I had excellent service and food even on Christmas Day. However, tonight 's experience with the server and the inept cook reminded me of the reason why Black Bear Dinner went belly-up in our town Santa Maria, CA. My wife ordered Salmon without seasoning like she had the first time we visited this restaurant last week. No problem. However, tonight the Salmon had sauce with pepper on it. She sent it back. When it was corrected the server made the comment, next time you should also include no sauce. He knew the sauce had a season at the time of the order but failed to inform her of the seasoned sauce. He made it sound like it was my wife 's fault for the meal being sent back. I ordered a NY Steak medium rare not medium well with French Fries. The steak was almost well done and the fries and Onion Ring came to me crisp that it was crunchy and hard to eat. I did not send it back because the server 's attitude and poor service were triggering my PTSD from Nam. Rather than cause an incident, I ate what I could. When we went to order an apple cobbler ala mode. The server said there was none. However, as I paid the $40.96 bill. I noticed two apple cobblers in the display case. The cashier confirmed this. When I informed her of the meal problem and the apple cobbler issue, she had a careless no responsive attitude and not even an aplogy.

The food was really good, our visit started off with a warm welcome when we walked. Our server Anthony was prompt and everything came out in a timely manner.

My wife and I pulled into Laughlin too early for our room, so we crossed the river to Bullhead City and had a late breakfast here (they serve breakfast all day, so that was a plus! The place was packed, so we had to wait a bit before getting our table. Our breakfast was perfect! Everything was cooked properly and tasted awesome! It was the best breakfast we had during our trip.

We went with our family who came to visit from out of town. The food was great and the service was even better. We will be making it a regular thing. Prices were good and the environment was comfortable. We had a lovely time.

Another great breakfast from a great restaurant. The service was great. The food was on par with other Black Bear Diners. The atmosphere is good. Friendly and fast service. Went to competitor and they had staffing issues but not Black Bear Diner. Short wait time with large crowd.
