Bidrage med feedbackI couldn't find any vegan options after looking around and searching online, so I turned to an Indian restaurant as a last resort. In a city with limited vegan choices, this restaurant is your best bet. The menu mostly consists of Indian food, with a small selection of Chinese dishes as well. The food is delicious, satisfying, and made with high-quality ingredients. The staff may not be familiar with the term 'vegan', so be sure to ask questions and explain your dietary needs. While the staff may have limited English skills, the owners seem to know some English, and the menu has English names and some pictures of the dishes. The restaurant offers outdoor seating, reasonable prices, and is easy to locate. If you're uncertain about finding the restaurant, ask locals for directions as they are familiar with its location. I highly recommend trying the chana masala and requesting the naan without butter. The chapati is also a vegan option.

This is the best Indian food I have had in all of East Africa. The service was friendly and quick! The waiters were prompt in refilling our drinks. In other restaurants, dinner typically lasted around 2.5 hours. However, as a group of four here, we were served in just 20 minutes and finished our meal in only 1 hour and 30 minutes. The food was so delicious that we ate here twice.
I reached out to Tandoor restaurant to surprise my sister and her husband for their wedding anniversary while I was living outside of Bujumbura. I spoke with a young man named Mikki, and everything went smoothly because he understood my suggestions and decisions. He called my sister, arranged a dinner with her beloved Nabeby, and it was a wonderful surprise. He took care of everything from decorations to the cake, and even included a bouquet. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone for its excellent service and Mikki's professionalism, which I am looking forward to experiencing in person.
