The Place - Buffalo

I love being able to eat outdoors at one of the patio fire pit tables! The food is great, I've had their chicken wings before and tonight I tried the lobster gnocchi, to die for! Definitely make reservations though!Food: 5/5

(Late Jan 2023) Thought I was in for standard bar food, but was pleasantly surprised that this was certainly not the case! Very good french onion soup and fantastically made Reuben on perfectly toasted bread

We love the Place. The portions are generous and the food is great.We go every year for Tom Jerry's in celebration of our mother. She never missed a year.Unfortunately this year they were out of their souvenir mugs to accompany the drink, but we did go late in the season so I don't hold it against them at all.We will be back, year round.

Very disappointed. We ordered a sandwich and a pasta dish for dinner, waited well over an hour. I’m pretty sure that someone forgot to put our order in.At about the hour mark, someone other than our server (a manager? came over and apologized for the wait, explained that the kitchen was very busy and they were “working” on getting our order done — it still wasn’t done!Another twenty or so minutes later and eventually our food was brought out (it tasted good, at least . We paid full price for everything, not even our beer and wine were comped.Disappointed with the experience and even more disappointed with how the situation was handled.

The Place is a solid choice if you're hungry and want good food, good service. I'll be honest It's been hit or miss in terms of service before, I think based on how busy they are with weirdly slower times being a miss and busy being a hit. Absolutely need to get the Banana Pepper dip, I've had it loads of places but this Place does it the best.
