The Catfish Cafe - Buffalo

Good service , clean, Great Tea but the food is way over cooked. Mushrooms were almost black . Hush Puppies had a off taste I never tasted before and won't again. Had the Catfish also. It gave me GREAT Appreciation for the Gortons Frozen fish Fillets .Thats not a joke. Will not go back even if it's 2 for $10.00 on Tuesday's Special.

What a treasure hidden in Buffalo, MO. It is worth traveling the street less to enjoy this local cuisine. The food was heavenly, cheap. The waitress was exceptionally friendly, and the kitchen and kitchen staff served quickly food, even if it was busy. Even the locals are friendly. We felt so welcome. Recommend this place and hope to visit again.

Great simple café. The catfish melts on my taste buds. My wife had the 3 pieces and I had the 5 pieces, we both had the same two secondary dishes. The Cole Slav was unique and wonderful. The frits were golden brown and delicious.

Stopped on the way home from Springfield and the guy at the neighboring gas station said to try the spicy cats. I am glad he did it; that was delicious!! the frits and fish were super good and really fill! would recommend and will definitely come back.

Great place to eat. Great service! We were through. Will stop again. The prices were very reasonable. Handle the Mothers Day Lunch Lot nice.
