Bidrage med feedbackWe stopped late Saturday afternoon and the place was not very busy. We could choose the table of our choice. Our server was efficiently and regularly checked for us. We ordered the Rachel, a grilled cheese bacon sandwich and the senior part of the chicken fingers. I've never seen a kids and seniors menu, and I thought it was a great idea. We had chips, pommes and perpetrators. The chips were crisp and delicious. The food we ordered was good, especially the chicken fingers. They were crispy instead of soggy. They came to our table sauce without, and I asked our server for medium sauce that they delivered easily. They came with blue cheese and celery. There was a good amount of well cooked bacon on the grilled cheese sandwich, although the bread was nothing special. The beer selection was varied and interesting, and I was delighted to see UFO Blueberry available. The restaurant had a large open dining area and was decorated for Christmas. There is plenty of parking in the lot right in front of the door. The location is convenient, right before the motorway exit on the Union.
This review is based on soft pulp, hot pepper soup, three pigs macaroni and cheese and hamburgers. The pulps were very soft, the cheese sauce was only average. The hot pepper soup was thick rich creamy and tasty with a beautiful spicy kick, the sausage in the soup was very delicate and tasteful. I would definitely order that again. The macaroni and cheese were good, very cheesy and had ham, bacon and sausage, all very good and delicate. The burger was thick, the role it came to was baked and roasted. It wasn't super aromatic, just a moderate burger. The frits were freshly cut and not frozen.
Came for my anniversary and was blown away. Food was great, service was great. The onion leaves were amazing and their homemade zesty sauce was primo. My husband had the Black n Bleu Burger and I had the Stinger Mac n cheese. Best Mac I ever had! Will try again and again so many more Macs
I can't deny that this place has the best Mac and cheese on the east coast. I didn't find better on time. On Wednesday evening the place literally sat in the pebbles. Mac and cheese were PERFECT. I would recommend the three little pigs. Man is good. Hard Pass on the Hog Wings. They were boiled and dry and came almost 25 minutes after my Mac and cheese. They were also much smaller than in the past. The waitress always said they were waiting to be sown, but once you saw them, you knew they were just overcooked. They used to be amazing. How crazy. but I will not order them again and I do not recommend anyone to order them. Buy the Mac and cheese though. If you come to Buffalo, don't bother with the Anchor Bar or Duffs. Go to Mooney for Mac and Cheese!!!
I really enjoyed Mooneys! I love their macaroni lobster macaroni and cheese and their pulled pork sandwich! I will definitely eat there again!
