Good Italian food downtown. Thursday's half price apps are a must!!!!! Better than chef's

I stopped in here while I was visiting town for a conference. I sat at the bar and had bartender Rachel (I think, I’m bad with names but I remember she’s a teacher). She was incredibly sweet and helped me select a local beer and pizza. But her service was outstanding, I mentioned why I was in town when she asked and she talked about various things to do in the city and even helped write me a list, all while taking care of the other couple people sitting at the bar. It really made me take note of the place to recommend to others as they go through Buffalo or to keep in mind if I ever return! I had a standard pizza that was half pepperoni and half mushroom, which was delicious. I don’t remember the names of the beers I was recommended, but they were great, too.

The staff were great but there was an issue with a young guy who was arrested for causing an issue and refusing to leave. The food was overcooked and not very flavorful.

Not Mt favorite pizza, there was only one waitress for all the tables so it takes time to be serve.

Got there at 9:40, place says they close at 10, big guy locked the door as I approached, looked me and walked away. Very cold. I’ll say this place sucks on that vibe alone. Sad.
