Bacchus Wine Bar Restaurant - Buffalo

Absolutely fantastic! Do not hesitate to book your next date night or special occasion here! The service was beyond exceptional, especially with the complimentary valet. The lobster bao and crème brûlée were notable favorites. While I wouldn’t order the season corn tortellini again, everything else was fabulous and exceeded expectation. The wine list was especially good!

Absolutely lovely wine bar and restaurant in downtown Buffalo! The location is so central and surrounded by other bars and restaurants. The complimentary valet and impeccable dining service were highlights. The seasonal menu was exciting and well tested. The wine list is filled with great options, including a value section (which is super helpful !!! . I personally loved their orange wine by the glass. Lobster BLT bao buns were a favorite as was the crème brûlée. I wouldn't order the corn tortellini again, but could easily see it being someone else's choice!

Everyone enjoyed their food. Most had the ribeye, as did I. I usually prefer a filet and I should have just done that. Maybe it's not a fair rating due to my choice vs my preference, but I thought my steak was only slightly better than average. The scallop appetizer was fantastic, as was the wine. We had red, Carter was first, Pride second. I preferred the Carter as I found it to be smoother, more velvety. The ethiopian coffee was really good. It is no americano, so don't judge it based on that. If you are a true craft coffee drinker, you will love it.

We reserved a table for my wife’s birthday, so it was a special occasion. I won't comment on the food since everyone has different tastes. But the service was terrible for such an expensive restaurant. We started with two salads, but after a long wait, the server only brought my wife’s salad. They told me mine was unavailable and suggested I order something else. So, my wife waited another 15 minutes with her salad so we could eat together. It wasn’t until I asked about bread that they brought some, along with olive oil. Our server wasn’t friendly and gave minimal attention to our table. When I made the reservation, I mentioned it was for a birthday, but no one even congratulated us. Honestly, I've had much better experiences at Carrabba's, which costs half as much. This restaurant is totally overrated with average food and awful service. Kid-friendliness: Not at all

Great food. On the downside, the first table had a soiled tablecloth. We advised the sever and moved tables, but the original table was never cleared. Luckily no one sat there.
