Bidrage med feedbackWe loved this place and every time we came to BA (since 2008), we ate here. Not anymore. I never put it on Tripadvisor because it is not (and never was) a restaurant for the public. I called it the cattle club. But her association is...for improving rural Argentine, Uruguay and Chile. In fact, I met an old person who remembers coming to Pittsburgh to market beef. They only allowed the public if not engaged in meetings, etc. the guard at the door said the RESTUARANT is now completely private for members only. I'll miss it.
Although you walk in the door, a hallway down, the stairs up and around... you are welcomed by a beautiful staff and a beautiful white tableware restaurant. My husband and I shared the equivalent of a fillet mignon, a very big caprese salad and a whole... bottle of excellent Malbec. The tab was about $30. The meat was cooked to perfection and from this world. I would definitely recommend this place....even if it was from the fairly wounded pedestrian tourist just walking on Florida St. in Centro.
It was a little hard to find, but after the search we found a wonderful place to eat in the back of this neoclassical building (which is actually an institute for agriculture). We had good meat and also the Saldbar was good. We're definitely coming back here.
The rurul argentna society is an association of land owners with history that dates back to 1866, mainly dedicated to agriculture. with little relationship to meat, this restaurant offers excellent cuts of Argentinean pavilion, of almost an inch of tick. the average grill is equivalent to the American rare, but extremely tasty. go with the red wine of mendoza. leave room for the typical desserts of the area.
Even if you walk through the door, you walk down a hallway, climb the stairs and surround yourself... you are welcomed by a charming staff and a charming restaurant with white tablecloths. my husband and I share the equivalent of a mignon fillet, a very large caprese salad and an entire bottle of excellent malbec. the account was about $30. the flesh was cooked perfectly and out of this world. I would definitely recommend this place... even though it is next to the only tourist pedestrian walkway in florida st. downtown.
