The beef with garlic puree and potatoes is amazing. We ask for two desserts, the chocolate is very rich but the one with fernet ice cream is unique!
Food: The food was excellent, very creative and highlights the high performance of each dish. It is fascinated by every taste and texture of all dishes. All very well but the tomato tart and wagyu were a taste bomb! Service: Quito a star because the service was very poor. We had a reservation at 10:30 p.m., we arrived at 10:40 p.m. and the table was not ready. It's a disrespect for the comensal, there was no apology and they only offered us foaming for the wait. We also ask that each dish be separated and all the tickets came at the same time, the bread was cold.
5️ A 50best, waited a little longer. Chosen as a 50best of Latin America. We have to go with reserve. The place is super small, about 20 diners will come in. Attention is luxury, super personalized. You can order the menu of steps or à la carte dishes, we went for the second option. The menu consists of approximately 15 dishes that are changing according to the station. We tried: the squids that were excellent, a pate that I loved, a rich tartare, and an okonomiyaki that didn't like anything, was very salty, we couldn't finish it. We really ended up satisfied and seemed a good option to live that experience without spending so much money, although we felt a bit judged by asking for water instead of wine, ha.
September 2023: I went in late September with many expectations for the tasting menu with pairing. Everything was really rich, though some dishes I liked more than others. The pairing was also excellent and completed the entire experience very well. I would return for the dishes that were the protagonists for me: the ramen and the wagyu to the grill. INCREIBLE. The onigiri and the locusts also broke it all. That day the total of 2 people was 120 000 ARS (120 USD approx.). For me it was an exquisite experience and it seemed to me that it has well deserved its place in the Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants. Update December 2023: I returned by the wagyu to the grill as a main dish. I particularly love the combination with light garlic and blue butter. It's a must. Following the recommendation, I tasted the dehydrated watermelon and is a surprisingly rich, fresh, with a great combination and harmony of flavors. I'd eat it again. Every time I go beyond even more expectations, never fails, attention is very dedicated and friendly, the weather, the atmosphere and the music invite to enjoy the dinner, high cuisine, without fails in the execution and raising the gastronomic rod of bs as. The point of the meat, the potato sfogliatella, the pier, all the dishes with much dedication, innovation and good technique of execution. Whenever you can, I come back and recommend it.
