Buono Italian Kitchen - Buenos Aires

Great food, excellent service and cosy surroundings. The waitress Valeria was amazing. The restaurant is located in Sheraton Buenos Aires.

This is our first time in Buenos Aires, so maybe other restaurants here are so good, but so far this is the best we have tasted. Buono is located on the first floor of the Marriott/Sheraton complex from the port. I'm Italian, so I love eating, and I love eating Italian food. We started with Farinata del gierno. This is a gluten-free flatbread with chickpeas that is amazing. My wife has a gluten allergy so we have to find her special food. While gluten-free becomes better, usually it is not as good as the gluten-containing (my invented word) mainstays. Then Risotto al Funghi came. My family is Northern Italy, so Risotto al Funghi is one of the best dishes of my Nona. Buono would have made her smile. Then I had her Bondiola Brasata with Polnta. You know that Argentina is a meat eater paradise. This pig steak was heavenly, and the polnta was like Nonas. That made me smile. Just so you know that I really revive this meal as I write, the house red mixed wine was a little thin, acceptable, but not with the great food. Hey, if you're around here somewhere, pamper yourself and eat here.

Get the steak. I got the chicken with artichoke and it wasn't very good, but the steak was good enough to give it 5.

Beautiful assortment of healthy breakfast products. Many beautiful fruits, but also other foods, such as cereals and many kinds of bread. I liked drinking the yogurt, fruit slices and coffee. Service is attentive, friendly and helpful.

Lucia was an excellent server. She was very attentive. The food here was excellent. The wine selection is very thorough
