K's Old Fashioned Hamburgers

Great, fast little roadside burger and corn dog joint. We had our dog with us and couldn't go to a proper restaurant as he doesn't like being close to other people. This place had a long line but it went super quick. Chilly dog combo and corn dog combo hit the spot. Fries were fresh and hot. The service was good. Great little park next door too.

The primary redeeming quality of this place is the ice cream and the manner in which they call out orders. When you order, you're given a celebrity's name (think Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, Shirley Temple, etc. , and that's who you listen for. It's a fun idea and all ages seem to like it. Unfortunately, the burgers themselves are lackluster and don't have much flavor. They're also fairly greasy. This is a small joint on the side of the highway coming into town. There's minimal seating available, but there's a nearby park if you have some kids who need to burn some energy. There's a map inside where people can place a push-pin on the place they're from. It's fascinating to see how far people have come to go through BV. Go for the ice cream, and stay for the names. I'd go somewhere else for an actual meal.

Great hamburgers, fries and shakes. Well oiled machine gets your food to you quickly even though everything is cooked to order. A must stop for us when passing through BV! A bit pricey or it'd be 5 stars.

We waited in line for about 20 minutes, to be expected on a Saturday afternoon, but the food did come out very quickly after we had ordered. It's a typical American drive-in type menu, with burgers/fries/ice cream/malts. They loudly proclaimed they were out of burger patties at 3:30pm on a Saturday. You're a burger joint- how does that happen ?? Pricing is about what you would expect, middle of the road. The corn dogs were the same price as burgers. They were good, don't get me wrong, but not worthy of the same price point as a juicy burger. We enjoyed our Freezes (think Dairy Queen Blizzard). The ice cream is a classic creamy soft serve.

This is a very popular place. It 's a walk up place with a little bit of outdoor seating. They play fun music and they give you a famous person 's name that they call when your order is ready. They have soft serve ice cream and my favorite thing was that they were very generous with my rainbow sprinkles!! The burger tasted good but the bun was hard and dry, not fresh. I ordered onion rings, heard the young woman yell, o-rings! But then when we picked up the order I had fries (not great by the way) and no onion rings. My husband told them we had ordered onion rings instead of fries, but apparently we weren 't charged for onion rings and they weren 't willing to give them to us because they said too many people scam them saying they didn 't get their onion rings. Weird. And frustrating.
