Bottlest Winery Bar Bistro - Buellton

The flatbread had a crispy, light crust and was topped with a flavorful ointment made with beets, pistachios, and goat cheese. The dressing was light and delicious. The decor was quirky, but I had trouble finding a wine I wanted to pair with my meal.

They have a great happy hour. eating is really good, but would rather not listen to acoustic folk music during dinner on a Saturday night because it feels more like a pub than a restaurant, plus it is hard to have a conversation. we love the steak burger, but the bungalow was literally 4 inches thick, so the burger was at least 7 inches tall, so there is really no way to eat it. Maybe a Brioche bee would be more practical? I don't think everyone is mouthful that big, so if they go on a date maybe the burger isn't the thing to order lol.

I was searching for a lovely dining spot in the city, and I found a real hidden gem here. It's worth noting that it's tucked away on a small side street. The restaurant boasts a large bar and an impressive wine selection. We decided to try a variety of starters for our party of four and created our own tapas experience. The lamb meatballs were a standout dish that we particularly enjoyed. If you find yourself in Buellton for a wine stop, this restaurant is a must-visit.

Our appetizer was excellent! we have ordered and burrata. and cheesecake were good. the only thing I would add is that the menu is limited. there is a series of price points, but not a lot of variety. Perhaps this will change in the future.

This is my second visit to The Bottlest, definitely coming back for a third time. Not only is the food great (I recommend the meatballs and bacon wrapped dates) but the novelty of the wine wall makes the trip well worth it. You can order from the designated wine list as well but if you are feeling adventurous just ask your server what kind of wine you usually go for and they can direct you to the appropriate section of the wall. Amazing service, wonderful ambiance and the just an all around great restaurant.
