Guzman y Gomez - BUDDINA

We recently stayed in Maroochydore and ordered tacos, nachos etc from Guzman y Gomez and none of us were disappointed with the meals. They were a great size and some of us could not even finish our meals. Delicious.

We weren’t given a choice of how spicy we wanted our meals. We ordered a water which was given at room temperature. When I asked if she had a cold one she simply shrugged and said that’s all we’ve got. So I asked if I could have a cold drink. she slammed a Coke on the counter! thought we had ordered the meal deal with drink and fries but we were charged as individuals. When I asked, she simply handed me the receipt. Not a word was spoken. The lady who brought our food was very pleasant but having ordered identical meals, we were puzzled when one came with guacamole and the other with nachos. It wasn’t worth the hassle asking the server at the till.

The most disgusting excuse for a burrito I have ever eaten. The burrito was underdone, cold and slimy. A horrid green sauce poured over the top and a drizzle of supposedly sour cream. The inside, consisting of slow cooked beef, was just warm and underwhelming. The whole experience was a total disgrace!

Ordered food via Uber Eats Friday 9th July 2021. (Townsville) Food arrived late and cold, and when i say cold I mean cold to touch. After trying to contact the store and Uber Eats, with no luck, as the phone number listed for the store was disconnected, we threw the food in the bin. I really don't care who is responsible, we are the customer and we ordered food that is meant to be consumed hot. Cold or warm delivered food is a potential health hazzard, and in this Covid environment this is unacceptable. As no one is contactable, unsatisfactory reviews will be left on as many sites as possible and will include the fact that consuming food that is not delivered the correct temperature can be unsafe for human consumption. Proof of order and Uber Eats can be provided. J Spencer

The food is a 6/10 compared to mad mex, the service is a solid 7/10, feels like your with family. the wait times could be improved 6/10. prices are better at guzman y gomez than mad max 8/10. mad mex is better overall, the prices are more expensive (6/10) the service is more welcoming (8/10) the wait times are many customers feel it is a bad place
