Bidrage med feedbackThe restaurant "Paprika" is one of the most famous places to try Hungarian food in Budapest. Located near Heroes Square and City Park, it is slightly more expensive than other restaurants in less touristy areas of the city. However, the location, service, and traditional Hungarian cuisine make "Paprika" a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the magic of Hungarian food in the capital. During my visit with a friend, we paid around 5000 Hungarian for our meals. The interior decor is charmingly old-fashioned, and the exterior remains attractively unchanged since the restaurant's opening. While not a gourmet spot, "Paprika" is an ideal place to sample typical Hungarian dishes without breaking the bank.
The restaurant "Paprika" is one of the most famous places to try Hungarian food in Budapest. It is located next to Heroes' Square, near City Park. Although it is slightly more expensive than other restaurants in less touristy areas of the city, both for its location and for the service and tradition, "Paprika" is a must-visit if you want to try good Hungarian cuisine in the capital of the country. When I was at the restaurant with a friend, we paid around 5000 Hungarian forints (about 16 euros) for two people, trying dishes such as the famous "chicken paprika" and some delicious portobello mushrooms stuffed with camembert cheese. All the dishes are quite generous, and come accompanied by rice, vegetables and various sauces and cheeses. The interior of the restaurant has a quite particular style, as it is entirely covered with wood. The decoration is quite old-fashioned, and the exterior of the restaurant is very attractive, as it has remained intact since the year of its opening. Although it is not a gourmet restaurant, it is an ideal place to get an idea of what is eaten in the homes of the country without spending too much money.
