Chavelo's Mexican - Buda

Oh, man, I'm looking! almost immediately after eating. that was an old man, now that I see it is not the only attempt to have a problem with this place. they got $40 without an item and I didn't get $40 worth on food. I saw the reviews that someone else had this problem and said that they secretly charged 20% drinking money. the Taco salad was not even half full and had 5 small salate pieces on it. Search a rip off!

They have good food! we were here every Saturday and Sunday for breakfast. the personal is wonderful, great service. Unfortunately, my man and I are falling on coffee and their coffee is terrible. they don't make a pot, they make it cup with cups when they order it must be instant except that everything is great. we had to switch to another restaurant that offers a good sound.

Because of my brother, the bad decision making, we stumbled here and unfortunately it was not good. the only decent start to this case were the generic chips and salsa and the half filled horchata tassen. $4 per half drink, no refills. I then ordered a steak ranchero to be a 6oz steak, instead I got a jazz. And that wasn't even good, I would throw it away before I gave it to my starving dog. then the prizes they want for their sub par food are in the head. their service was good, but why would they not be if they just tear off happy. would never recommend this place and far from a Mexican restaurant, it is the best place to get them mugged. so I got my legit $4 drink

My husband and I were driving to San Antonio and decided to stop at Chavelo's Mexican Restaurant. Don't let this small restaurant fool you, it's great!! My husband is picky with Mexican food and he loved this place. The service was amazing!!! Our first server was nice and our waitress was amazing!! They were all bilingual which was nice. My husband ordered the mixed fajitas plate and I got cheese enchiladas. The micheladas are good too. If you're in this area I definitely recommend stopping at Chavelo's. We'll definitely be back. ?

Very good Mexican food.I did not like the red tomatoes sauce that had no flavor to it.The in house made salsa (the spicy) one was delicious. It’s dark red/brownish.Menudo was fresh and was delicious. I only wished they served it with diced up Chile Serrano on the onion cilantro plate so one can choose to put it in there menudo.Employees are great and friendly and very attentive. Great service.Muy buena comida. El menudo estaba fresco y no muy grasoso. Salsa estaba buena y picante.Nomas le falto chile serrano al menudo pero estaba muy bueno.
