As a food critic, I have had the pleasure of dining at some of the most prestigious restaurants in the world. However, I recently stumbled upon a hidden gem that has left me speechless. Amici, a food truck that operates in the heart of downtown historic Buda, may seem like your average street food vendor, but don't let that fool you. Their restaurant quality dishes will blow your mind!From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly welcome. The menu was extensive, offering a wide range of traditional Italian dishes that made it difficult to choose just one.I decided to go with the Spaghetti Carbonara, a classic Italian dish that I had been craving for a while. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was creamy and flavorful. The dish was a perfect balance of salty and savory, and I could not have been more satisfied.My family members opted for different dishes, including spaghetti puttanesca, penne vodka, penne bolognese, and garlic and oil. Each dish was prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail, and the flavors were simply divine. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the sauces were rich and authentic.What impressed me the most was the authenticity of the food. Having just returned from Italy, I can confidently say that the food at Amici was the exact same as what I had experienced in Italy. The ingredients were fresh, and the dishes were prepared with traditional Italian techniques.Another great aspect of Amici is that it's BYOB. This means that you can bring your favorite bottle of wine or beer to enjoy with your meal, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.In conclusion, I highly recommend Amici to anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience. Amazing food and wonderful service! The cleopatra salad is my favorite goat cheese, candied almonds, and you can’t forget the truffle honey dressing ? If you add chicken they give you your money’s worth and it’s so fresh and juicy. We love the shrimp fra diavolo, Bolognese, and the Greek options! They always give us this amazing fresh, soft bread with our pasta dishes as wellParking: Decent parking

The lasagna was to die for! They even gave us extra bread and ornaments as a holiday gift, such a nice touch. Great customer service 11/10. If you are in Buda this is a MUST stop.

We were in the area and had to give this a try! There are a lot of food trucks in this one little spot, so it's nice to be able to try all the different vendors. I will say they were on the pricier side for food trucks. We spent about $43 for two pasta entrees. We wanted to see what the hype was about. Their sauce was very creamy and they give a lot of sauce with your pasta. Everything is made fresh and they give you bread and oil with each entree. For food truck, their pasta was good. They have a lot of options to choose from on their menu. There wasn't a lot of people at this food truck and I'm assuming it's because of the price. It was good and I'd come back to try other items on the menu.
