Bidrage med feedbackI wanted to buy cakes and pastries and it took 45 minutes! There were only 2 ladies while the line was over 15 people. And the same ladies have also edited online orders. My bad luck was that a lady came with an order in front of the line, but instead of taking and leaving the order, she ordered more products for over 20 minutes, which in just one person serving the other! And when I was finally served, they went out of the pasture I wanted! Bottom line do not go there unless you have an order or a lot of patience!
The taste of Maria confectionery cake is known to many people, but the story behind one of the most popular brands in this area was not too often told. It all began when Maria Constantin, a confectioner of profession, took over, through privatization, 1992, a confectionery in the Aviatiei neighborhood, from the need to have a job, but also to fulfill her dream of a separate confectionery with tables and chairs, as told by his daughter, Constanta Todorescu. Maria confectionery and the two constancy goods now serve hundreds of customers every day, with the 150 products on offer and make a profit of millions of Lei.
We went to this place on a Sunday afternoon to have Profiterol in 2. The queue was long, but we decided to wait and at the end we also found a table to take a place. Profiterol was delicious, but only with chocolate ice cream, although it usually came with vanilla and chocolate. However, the service here is quite slow and waiting lines are long. They do not particularly respect the difference in waiting lines for cookies vs. Pastries, allowing you to wait in one row forever.
Beautiful atmosphere, low prices for how good the cakes really are. In many other places you have to pay much more and the quality is lower. Classic cakes and new, completely addicted to the shop!! ‘
The cakes taste good, plenty of choices, good prices, the place is clean. However, the queuing system is really unorganised making the entire place being crowded and messy. Apart from that, I recommend it.
