Bidrage med feedbackVery nice place to spend time with friends. There was a great feeling of calm and relaxation! I recommend!
This place is a real jewel. A walk to and from it is a submerged in irregular streets with impressive houses. The tea garden is hidden in sight and it is very pleasant to sit there. The products are diverse and good. All well... also with friendly service and fair prices.
Beautiful terrace, very secluded with lots of green. Many mosquitoes also, but they offer Autan. Menu and prices on standard for Bucharest tea houses. Service not the best. The staff is distracted and the order took too long to arrive. When my friend pointed out, the waiter gave her an rude answer.
Ceai la Metoc is a tea garden somewhere behind the Armenian Church. Little complicated to find, but totally worth it. It's actually an old house with a luxurious garden sourcherry, fig trees, all kinds of flowers) which is very refreshing to visit during the...hot summer. Almost like a getaway from the otherwise stressful city. It's situated in the old Armenian neighbourhood lots of old houses reminiscent of the pre communist era. They serve literally more than a hundred tea varieties from all over the world. Also beers and fruit lemonades the one with ice cream is my favourite). And home made goodies: cakes, pies etc. it depends on what was cooked that day. They light candles in the evening making it even more romantic. They usually play nice soft jazz in the background. So if you want to getaway from Bucharest without getting out of it and want to just chill, find your inner peace and enjoy a refined tea with some goodies with your partner, family or friends this is the place.
A hidden place in the heart of Bucharest. It is open only in summer days and after 5 pm. A wild garden without pleasure.
