Amazing. The fried pork steak is tender and not oily. Spiced perfect. My girlfriend got the smothered- also tender and delicious. Cabbage, yams, okra, and black eyed peas all just like I was still in North Carolina! I’ll be back for SURE! (Did I mention the to die for peach cobbler. Yup.

7 of us just ate at this wonderful family owned restaurant today... the pork ribs, brisket and oxtail were finger lick ‘in excellent!! The potato salad was delicious and the corn bread perfect!!! Oh and I don’t want to forget the cabbage and peach cobbler!

Found this little hole in the wall joint by accident, loved it. Nice, friendly staff, down south cooking in Texas. Love it.

Very delicious... had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese. I felt like i was home!! They are very nice and always smiling! Loved loved it. I’m definitely going again
