Bidrage med feedbackAmazing, loaded lobster rolls!. I love Libby's market for her lobster rolls... they're a Tad Pricey, but it's worth 100% because they don't skip on the lobster! every single bite is packed with perfect lobster salad. Just a little Mayo. You can roast your rolls and add some salad, and it makes a great lunch or dinner. My parents and I love eating them from time to time. That makes me so happy that I am from Maine.
Go to the lobster roll. General amount of lobster, and they will cast the role for you in this old-fashioned lunch counter in a tiny convenience store.
A great place to have a lobster roll and drink a moxie. Libby looks like a typical streetside shop, but there is much more than the eye meets. In the backyard they have a pot of fresh lobsters that cook for the next round of lobster rolls. These roles are some of the best you can get in Maine, especially if you like them cold.
So my wife has a table sheet with rankings of the best lobster rolls throughout New England... that is now bound for #1. It was so good that we came back the next day and got a foot length. You make it with butter on the side, or with Mayo. Lettuce optional. Super friendly owner Jason, his wife and 4 children. A real family shop, off the beaten path, but worth a detour and stop. They will not be disappointed in their lobster role. (from someone who ate them in over 40 places. You also have to try the chicken salad during the next visit. Good red wine selection too.
Very nice lobster roll on a butter-toasted bun. Super friendly staff, and a better wine selection (both in variety and quality) than any supermarket in the area (if you can't get to a wine/beer specific store, that is). Limited seating, but anyone you sit next to will be friendly and happy to chat.
