Yeah I mean this has to be the best place to get a dog or porkchop sandwich for miles. I'm from savannah and I drive here just to eat. Do yourself a favor and get a chilli dog and if you get the porkchop sandwich just get onions and mustard don't get it with the tomato or whatever else it comes with.
I've been twice now and both times I've asked for a chill cheese dog with NO ONIONS and both times my dog has ended up in the trash full of onions!
Prices are great. The hotdogs are amazing. This place is miles better than the varsity.
The food is amazing. Fried pork chop all the way. The atmosphere is not fancy but it is clean and well kept. If you are adverse to eating on picnic tables out of waxed paper then this isn't your place. But, the people who work here clearly care about making good food at a reasonable price and serving you with a friendly smile so don't fear the picnic tables and enjoy. Locals that we talked to all around the area know this place and are not afraid to tell you about their favorites.
