Penny’s Diner - Brunswick

We'd driven past this place for years before finally giving it a shot. The food is cooked fresh in front of you as it should be in a proper diner. Good portions, and everything tastes pretty good. The service was good, though the place itself is extremely small and cramped.

Solid diner experience. Although Penny's is a chain restaurant, the food is good in a no frills sort of way. I ordered a BLT and onion rings. Hubby got a chicken sandwich. Food arrived at our table hot. Wait staff was friendly and attentive.

Penny's Diner is amazing! They have nice staff and great food! On your birthday, they give you a brownie/cookie ice cream sundae. :

Just like a classic diner..... The menu isn't quite as large as some of the more full y featured diners of yesteryear and the portions have been shrinking as they try to hold the line on prices. But everything else, the quality of the food, the service and the atmosphere are definitely there.

Great diner food and friendly service just takes time to get your food.
