Grieks Byzantium - Brunssum

Always a fun place and they spruced it up since our last visit in 2014. Seems brighter and more open. As always you start out with the requisite shot of ouzo to cleanse the palatte. The salad bar has all the basics to make a nice starter. The veggies were fresh, nice big chunks of feta and a good selection of oils to top it off. The chicken soup was okay, A bit thin but had nice big chunks of chicken. The side of bread was nothing special. The Thymeria platter, with chicken fillet, gyros, Greek sausage and souvlaki was enjoyed. I thought they did a wonderful job of the chicken fillet. Full of flavour and very tender. The souvlaki's were also nice and tender. The Greek sausage was okay and the gyros was a bit dry. Good size portion of yummy frites.

Amazing Lamb dish, they bring you a shot of Sambuca as a pre dinner drink, call ahead in the summertime to reserve a table on the Patio. When they're really busy the turnaround time slows a little when you need your drink refilled.

Goed eten tegen normale prijzen. Ook het saladebuffet is van goede kwaliteit, en het is fijn dat je zelf kunt kiezen wat je wilt. Wij komen hier graag.
