Bidrage med feedbackOn the way to ft worth we're going over this place because we saw her billboard. it was great! very nice to appreciate her city. service was great by rolando. the food was delicious! taco salat, chicken chicken chicken and steakfinger with gravure were on the spot!
We had really high hopes for this place based on the reviews and billboard advertising?best huhn fried steak in texas.? we even drove in 40 minutes from the norden waco to try it. 6:30 on Sunday this place was about half full. they had two waiting employees to help us. the girl that served us took our drink order and appetizer. we ordered the loaded potato wedges and some sweet tees. the loaded potato wedges were really good. the fries were really crispy and fresh. the speck was good. the cheese was the same type of cheese they would find at the tanks or ballparks. our sweet tee was really sweet, even for people who love sweet tee, this tee was too sweet. unless that was a less common sweet, advice is to get half if it?re expects traditional sweet tee. we ordered our food and I got a beside salad, huh fried chicken and mac n cheese. my partner ordered the chicken roast steak, mac n cheese and an salat. my partner mom ordered the chicken steak fingers, from the side and the loaded kartoffels. the salates were really disappointing. I think I got a little cheese, maybe a few crumbs, and I'd have helped less wobble. the chicken steak had too much broth. it took many cuts to find the steak. the mac n-cheese seemed as if it were velveeta mac n-cheese in the box. my huh fried huhn was really good and frankly also the fried steak was really good. I think the steakfingers (I had a bit honest) were better than the rest of chicken meat dishes. our server was unfortunately not very attentive to our table. we didn't have our drinks for one after we got our appetizers. we had empty drinks for most of our mealtimes waiting for refills. salat: 2 out of 5 mac n cheese: 2 out of 5 tee: 3 out of 5 (tee taste was good but too sweet) chicken fried steak: 3 out of 5 chicken meat fried huh: 4 out of 5 chicken fried steakfinger: 4 out of 5 loaded potato wedges: 4 out of 5 service: 2 out of 5 total 3 out of 5 would have been better. we would go back, but really only if it were convenient, like on the way from or to somewhere.
Saw her sign of i35 and decided to stop and try it. best on the fly they ever try. our server was super friendly and helpful. the food was scratched and delicious, perfectly cooked. chicken fried steak, potato, gravy and mac n cheese. then we ordered a little apple cake. kratzer made when ordered and delicious, oh and the size of a football. safe recommended.
Beautiful place right in front of the carbahn. it's a nice two story rustic restaurant with scratched eating. the pizza was super! hand stretched and crispy at the edges. they have a nice pizza and calzone selection in the menu. the decor was funny and there were big tvs everywhere. the prizes were also great. our party of 7 paid around $80 with dessert. we decided to share the eagle landing dessert consisting of banana pudding, which between two house donuts is covered with a donut hole. very delicious! we could come by another road trip to I-35. P.S. there is also a winery next door with a wine tasting room and a terrace.
We stumbled upon Eagles ' Landing as we traveled down I35. Located just off of the interstate in the tiny town of Eddy, it would be easy to miss, but don 't make that mistake! Our server, Kendal, was kind and attentive. Service was quick, and the food was a rare find these days delicious AND reasonably priced! We enjoyed the tender, hand battered steak fingers and chicken strips, along with fresh cut fries and veggies. I was glad that my son and I split the chicken because the dessert was to die for!! Cleverly named The Eagle 's Nest, it includes your choice of chocolate or banana pudding (or if you 're like us, get a scoop of BOTH! sandwiched between a fried donut and topped with whipped cream and a donut hole. This is definitely a new family favorite. Can 't wait to come back!
