Madeira - Brownsville

Great food and atmosphere but pricey same or more expensive than cities like New York or Dallas

Delicious food. Service wonderful- Oliver Receptionist biased. We had asked a table with place 4. There were two in our party. One was available. I asked her if we could sit there. Neither of us do well with stands, short legs. Wasn't told with an attitude. They needed a party. 3-4. It wasn't reserved. About 30 minutes after our arrival, she sat there a single gentleman. There was a table for two like ours. It was our 45 anniversary. I had leg cramps all night. This happened to us for the second time.

This is one of the best restaurants I have eaten in Brownsville,TX. Over 5 stars. The service was overwhelming. Even the way the meal was served and presentation was great. The last time I saw this kind of service was in restaurants in Europe where I lived. The food was very well prepared and satisfying. Even the drinks were well made and served. My hat is in this facility. Good price. One of the tops, if not the top restaurants on my favorite list.

Excellent, before we knew, we spent 4 hours there. Lighting is dim and light on the eyes. Your menu is a cube with a QR code for your phone so easy to read. The music is just loud enough to drown other tables, but low enough to lead a private conversation. Our waiter, Pablo, was fast and very attentive. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked as we ordered it, and beautifully presented. It was so good that I made a reservation for my mother's birthday party. I'll add more photos when we go back when we go back.

Probably my favorite place in Brownsville. Had the best service, good wine and entrée suggestions. Wagyu is amazing and the ambient is very elegant. Good place to have a nice dinner and conversation on the patio.
