1848 BBQ - Brownsville

Had the brisket sandwich that is delicious. the part is right. the prices are fair.

Another tasty, delicate beef-bresket sandwich. still have the lone star and budweiser signs, but no beer!

We are of misouri and can say that 1848 bbq rivals what they would find in kansas city or st louis. the moist brisket was perfect, beautiful smoke ring and melt in its mouth delicate. the pulled pork had a nice bark and a big taste, not dried. her colleague was a welcome change from what we find locally with a spicy kick at the end, but not overpowered. friendly staff, clean place and fast service. it is worth stopping!

Ordered a brisket sandwich and water and it was 15.00. The sandwich was smaller than a Whataburger Jr. Left there hungry. Better off going to Longhorn or Rudys.

Food wad delicious, loved that they had a pickle bar. Wish they had fountain drinks tho.
