Zaika Indian Cuisine - Broomfield

I ordered the Lamb Vindaloo, which was $20.00, to-go. There was barley any lamb in the dish. I counted 7 small pieces and the rest was just sauce. Pretty lame and not worth the purchase to me. The samosas were good.

The food is good. However, the food is also very expensive for what you get. I ordered chicken saag with naan and it cost $30. The saag had maybe 10 small pieces of chicken in it and wasn't enough food for more than a meal and a half (small portioned meals). I know that food prices have gone up. However, these prices are at least 1.5 to 2 times higher than they should be. I would definitely go back if the prices were reconsidered.

I don’t recommend placing delivery orders through the restaurants own website. They charge $8.99 delivery fee which doesn’t go to the driver. The driver was outsourced from DoorDash. When the driver arrived, I asked him if he receives the $8.99 delivery fee. He said no, he only receives the tip amount. Use door dash, not the Zaika website.The food was about 2 or 3 stars out of 5. In the past, their dishes had much more flavor. I’m not sure if their chef changed or what exactly happened, but it’s not the same anymore.

Got an order for pick up last night. Ordered the chicken tikka masala 2/5 spice level, the lamb tikka masala 4/5 spice level and an order of the veggie samosas. Everything was very good. My husband wished his was a little bit spicier but mine was perfect. Didn’t take any pics at the time. Do wish the portion of meat was slightly more for the price but everything was very tasty and fresh!
