Bidrage med feedbackShowed up at 8:30 PM on a Friday night looking forward to having an ice cream with my husband, only to be told in a rude tone that they are cleaning the ice cream machine for the night and cannot make anything. We think whatever we’ll try another location only to be told the exact same thing. Why would they post the hours for 9 PM only to close 30 minutes earlier? I get they are trying to get out as soon as possible but seriously where is the management? This isn’t acceptable customer service, especially for a place that is well known for their ice cream. We have never had a bad experience at our Sonic’s in Texas. Won’t be returning to any Colorado Sonic’s if this is how they are run.
They really need to get it together at this Sonic. Well, all Sonics. I understand this chain is run by hormonal teenagers who tend to lack a strong ethic but can you at least just stay open kinda close to your hours? You will not drive by a Sonic in Colorado that has its outer lights on past 7pm. Won't happen. I picture them all huddled inside holding their breath just waiting for 720 to close early. Playing dead. You can't leave people sitting in your drive through for 10 minutes while you are pretending you know how to count change, and then tell them you are not taking any more orders for the night...3 nights a week. Way before closing. It happens all the time! I'm sorry that we, as parents and role models let you down kids because it's not just a few of you. Take pride in your job. No matter where it is. I promise you you will feel better about all the hard work you thought about doing if you actually do it. Sonic is lucky I am addicted to their ice.
This sonic closes down and stops taking orders when people are still in line and states that they are open until 9 PM but they actually close around 8:30 PM the hours should state that they close at 8:30 so the employees can get out at 9PM rather than state that the hours of operation are till 9 PM. Poor customer service. If you want to speak with the manager, supposedly his name is John. He encourages this behavior/practice and basically says that he’s sorry that’s just the way it is.
I've been trying to go to this Sonic for a while, but I always get here at 8:50 and they are always closed by then, even though the posted closing time is 9. Today, I got there at 8:30 and tried to order ice cream and they were already cleaning the machine. I was able to get mozzarella sticks and a slushee, though. I asked when they stop serving ice cream and they said they start cleaning their machine 30 minutes before closing. I keep trying to give them my money but apparently they don't want it!
For the second time, a specific night shift supervisor closed the store over an hour early while accepting online orders. This is fraud. Ask for a refund? All he says is sorry. Unacceptable customer service.
