Hickory Ash - Broomfield

Finally a great restaurant in our neighborhood. Loved that they worked with the local brewery wonderland to have their own signature Hickory and Ash Amber! Literally the best lobster bisque you will ever have, with black truffle dumplings and a herb foam and perfect lobster bites! And I had the perfect sized and amazingly grill marked pork chop on buttermilk grits and maple and bacon and basic glazed brussel sprouts and apricot compote. Every flavor in the dish melded succulently and we loved it. Russ are every bite of his perfectly cooked lamb, very classic Colorado cuisine! Beautiful view on their patio and phenomenal service, couldn't be more impressed or pleased with this new restaurant and only its second​ day open! Walking distance from our home makes this place our new favourite.

This is an amazing experience for Broomfield and I would put it in a class of dining in downtown Denver. I love the fact they source liquor from the Broomfield area, beer, bourbon, whiskey. The food is top notch and the service is spot on. I had the wedge salad, green goddess dressing which is unconventional but perfect, steak tartare, citrusy, tender and great. I would have been happy with just those 2. But...had the 4oz tenderloin MR it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Sides were Brussel spouts and creamed spinach, if there was a let down it was the sides. Another person in our party had the fries and they were great! Such a treat to have a restaurant like this in the burbs. I wonder how easy it will be to eat here when there is a show at the Event Center it is mere feet away. Parking could be an issue.

My second visit to H&A and Father’s Day brunch did not disappoint! Loved the signature cocktails (**** mary, hickory bird and rosé thyme). I had the french toast bread pudding, my hubby enjoyed the benedict poutine, and my daughter loved the chicken and waffle benedict. Anyone that is a true foodie will appreciate the natural ingredients, love and expertise that comprise these beautiful dishes. Oh, and the staff was super!. Our wait person was very attentive without being overbearing. Thanks for a wonderful experience once again!

AH--MAZING! First, I'll just say that this place is an amazing find for Broomfield, CO. Our waiter, Sam, had more knowledge about the wine, the brews, and the food than any waiter I've EVER encountered. He was passionate about the food, described it in a way that made you want to try EVERYTHING and was super helpful. The food was to die for. Not only was it art, it was incredible. This is a hiddle gem for sure. Probably a good idea to get a reservation on any day of the week, especially when there is an event at the 1st Bank Center. I will be back, over, and over, and over again! I think I love you!

We have lived in Arista for over 5 years and have been waiting for the Taylor restaurant ever since. It was worth the wait! The decor, food, staff, atmosphere.... all top notch. Congratulations and warm welcome to our neighborhood
