I had the Benedict with the mushrooms and there was at least 6 huge portabello mushrooms which were so tasty! Partner had the fritters which was also very generous portion and yummy too. Chai latte was good and coffee thumbs up. Beautiful presentation and nice staff would higly recommend : $42 for 2 with drinks.
The restaurant formerly known as Shady Lane Cafe has been rebranded as Chi Mayi Kitchen. Under new ownership, two new menus have been introduced. Breakfast is served from 7:00am to 11:30am, followed by the lunch menu. The staff is friendly and efficient, with my order arriving promptly at my table. I enjoyed my meal, particularly the 'Dirty Burger' served with potato wedges. The portion size was satisfying and the quality of the food was good. The only suggestion I would make is to consider not playing music in the restaurant, as it can be distracting while eating. However, this is just a personal preference.
Had a late lunch here just after 2pm. Ordered the Salmon Caesar Salad for me and my companion. Straight forward meal, not bad, not very exciting either. Staff were polite and service was quick. Wasn't a fan of the ever present smell of fuel not sure if it was related to the cafe though.
I had an amazing experience at this cafe in China Town. The service was superb and the drinks were fantastic. I can't wait to try the food, the menu looks delicious. It was the first cafe in miles that took orders at the table, which was awesome. I highly recommend this place.
Always go for food everytime we are in Broome. Great food and friendly service.
