Bidrage med feedbackMy family and I visited Secreto Southern Kitchen yesterday after closing on our new home. I must say the food did not disappoint. Everything that we ordered tasted great. The happy hour appetizers were a hit. I?m missing a few pictures but thebang bang shrimp and Brussel sprouts were delicious. Actually everything was delicious. I wasn?t a fan of the mocktails. Theatmosphere is really nice but the biggest pain was definitely finding a parking spot. I will definitely visit again.
I?ve been to Secreto a couple times and am always pleased with the entrees. Most recently, I had the American Wagyu Burger and can?t stop raving about it. It was ?simple?, but no where near your average burger. It was juicy and flavorful, prob thanks tothe caramelized onions and in house made condiments ????????Wow, loved it. Will be back very soon for other menu items. My onecritique would be that the bartender took a long while (about 20+ mins) from me sitting down to take my order, though therestaurant wasn?t busy.
Because he said I deserved it ???? So, I agreed and took myself to Secreto Southern Kitchen Bar. My server is amazing and has been guiding me thru this fine dining yet casual eating experience. I'm loving it ???? The ambiance of the restaurant, it luresyou into relaxation while the signature drinks take the rough edge off the day and just melts it right away. Breathtaking decorthru out is reminiscent of photography you've seen in the pages of architectural magazines and combined with the softer touchesof lighting throughout you will see finesse in the details of this place (check out the feature wall in the private dining room, meant to seat private parties of 25 or less) or the wine wall in the back hallway. There is also an outdoor patio area AND 1/2 WINE on WEDNESDAY ???????? This head chef does not disappoint from prep to presentation the food is beautifully cooked andplated but when you put that fork...in your mouth...be ready. It taste aaaaamazing. I had the chicken with mashed potatoes andgreen beans only after tittilating my taste buds be with the shrimp appetizer... Mercy. The carrot cake dessert did not fail toleave me speechless and filled with utter delight at the perfect ending to a perfect dining experience. The menu has had arecent overhaul that pleases in every way. More updates and changes to anticipate in the upcoming months so I can't wait to goagain, and def think you should check it out when you are in Brookhaven Maurice Thompson (featured server)
We stopped into this little unassuming restaurant in Brookhaven. Google had some beautiful pictures and great reviews but it seemed like it might not be the right energy for us. However, those reviews and pictures were compelling. We dropped in around6:45 on a Friday night. It was about 70% full. We were seated right away. We got a high energy server who guided us through themenu and was not shy about his preferences which included the fried chicken, veal meatloaf and wagyu burger. We started withthe Deviled Eggs. There were 5, 2 in one flavor and 3 in another. They were good and jump started our palates. Next was theIceberg Wedge Salad which has was exceptional. The smoked blue cheese, pickled onions and applewood bacon lardons made this themost flavorful wedge I have ever had. I opted for the fried chicken. The jalapeño gravy, green beans and mashed potatoes werevery good but almost unnecessary since the chicken was fried perfectly. It had a light batter which is my preference. I oncewent on a hunt for the best fried chicken in Atlanta. I believe this topped my find at that time. My wife had the wagyu burger. She really enjoyed it. I had a bite but she orders meat well done, so it was not to my taste. And the energy turned out to bejust right for us. The place filled up by 7:30 with a reserved crowd and an energetic waiter. We will definitely be back.
Best restaurant in Atlanta…great food, excellent service and nice atmosphere. Make sure you try the cornbread it is amazing
