Poppa's Fish House - Brookhaven

The best southern food you'll ever eat in your life. That's the home-cooked food you'll get before you were a kid. The staff who work in this restaurant are the most beautiful people you will ever meet. The fried catfish is absolutely delicious. This is a restaurant where you want to visit every day. But they don't open until 11:00 and close at 2:00, if you visit there long enough, they will know you by name. Everything in the restaurant is homemade.

You have a great salad bar. Huge selection of seafood (fried, grilled, cooked). Sometimes items can be too salty. A wide selection of your favorite South desserts. You could benefit from some other vegetable dishes. Overall a great place for lunch or dinner, but is a little expensive.

When we drove home on our road as we saw a billboard, I'm glad we made it! The food was amazing, and well cooked and seasoned perfectly. The roasted Okra and roasted green beans were amazing and the dessert table was no joke! Will definitely stop again the next time we are in this way!

Delicious, great variety and fun! You don't leave hunger or dissatisfaction. *Note: a server seat that you and take your drink order, THEN your waitress brings your drinks and treat everything you need. Trust me, you'll appreciate it before.

Crab legs were seasoned real good!! Just how I like them!! I really enjoyed them!! Buffet was ok!! The waitress Portia was real nice friendly!! And made sure she checked on us!! Update: I ordered take-out the food was delicious!! Some of my items were whole catfish(my fav).. boiled shrimps!! The hushpuppies was fabulous.. seafood pasta was great and the grape salad was very tasty!!
