Amore Cucina - Brookhaven

It was dead, but it was also rainy and a Tuesday. We didn 't expect much, but were pleasantly surprised. It was incredibly friendly for babies/families, which is important to us now. We got there early and there was only one or two other tables the entire time we were there.The server was a little strange, definitely not the A level staff, but that 's okay. All the food was really good. The bread service is served with a nice marinara and a ricotta spread. It was delightful. Regardless, the value was there, and I 'd go back. I think this restaurant fills a need it 's not as high quality as No 246, but it 's also not Bambinelli 's. It 's also not Carabbas or Olive Garden. It 's quaint. Check it out for yourself.

Great food. Cool atmosphere. Live acoustic music was great but a little too loud to hear at your own table if you’re sitting close. The food was really exceptional.

This was our first time at Amore and we wanted the food to be good so we could make this a regular spot. Unfortunately the food was inconsistent. Some was very good, some below par. The chicken parm and chicken piccata were good, the seafood special was not. The shrimp were over cooked to the point of being hard and the “fra diavolo” sauce was bland. The restaurant has a good ambience and potential, just needs more consistency with the food.

Food was great and music. The service was a bit slow. I wanted another glass of wine, but the server didn’t come back to us until we had finished our meal. Other than that great place. We will be back
