North Star American Bistro - Brookfield

We visited family and treated here for dinner. The bistro is in a sleepy, not very lively suburb, so expectations were not high. What a surprise from super friendly, professional waiting staff with exactly the right amount of attention for a truly extraordinary burger. Why is it so hard to get a really good one in the Burger's land? North Star might make the best burger I ever had in a restaurant. The sweet potato fries taste a little too much like cakes with cinnamon sugar, but the salads were fresh and the drinks good. I loved the candlelight atmosphere and bind for the best of all the hot rolls were put on the table without being asked. A really nice experience overall.

The food was great, but the service was even better! Stephanie R. was our server and she was warm and friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and created a fantastic experience. Will definitely come back and ask for her!

My food was good. The Kalamari was the best I had in a while. Good burger. Because how slow it was at noon, our service was not great, the staff was not excessively friendly.

I was in North Star American Bistro twice last month. Both times Stephanie was our server. She did an amazing job both times. She was very attentive and recommend great menu items! The first time we were there was quite busy, but it still delivered excellent service. The Lavendel Martini and French onion soup is amazing! I will recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family in the future.

It was a great place. The menu was quite extensive with lots of great options and choices. The food was of great quality and fresh. The last but not the least, our server was pleasant and attentive and worked very fast.
