Elia Taverna - BRONXVILLE

The Haloumi was amazing and the fresh made potato chips (fries) were great too. The gyro just happened to be the most bland tasting one I've ever had. Maybe the tzaziki sauce was missing spice, but I had to add a lot of salt and pepper to make it delicious. I'll probably go back to try something else. After all they did get great reviews, so maybe this was just an off day. *Edit* I came back with my girlfriend and we got the grilled octopus, the Chicken Souvlaki, and I got another gyro. The first time I came must have been an off day like I said because everything tonight was amazing. Loved it.

This is a true example of how great Greek food is made to make you feel good about yourself. My family and I have been to Greece and this place is amazing.

Elia Taverna is one of the best Greek Restaurants in Bronxville. They have a wide variety of items on their menu. My favorite appetizer that they offer is the assorted cold dips and saganaki flambé !! I even enjoyed the chicken kebab with a glass of red Sangria, absolutely delicious… 10/10 recommend. The staff is very kind and they offer assistance whenever you need it. The moment I walked in I was seated and offered complimentary pita and olives! Plenty of people seemed to agree because the restaurant was booked! If you’re looking for a good spot to eat or even celebrate an occasion, Elia Taverna should be the one!! I will be a loyal customer to Elia Taverna after this lovely experience.
