This is a very local restaurant. This is a great restaurant with superb food preparation. Good variety of food on the menu. Staff is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. There are bigger restaurants on City Island, but you won’t find a better restaurant.Food: 5/5

I love having dinner with friends at the Black Whale on a warm summer evening after a day out on the water. It's a hidden gem on City Island where you can unwind and enjoy a delicious meal in a cozy atmosphere without feeling cramped or hurried. The food is consistently excellent.

Such an Amazing Gem on City Island! The food is amazing, I highly recommend going in the evening and sitting outside, the ambiance is amazing. The Staff is amazing, and the food is amazing! This is a place where you will not regret waiting for a table.... The food is tasteful, made to perfection, trust me, not everyone knows how to make pasta! And I'm VERY picky when it comes to eating out as I am a chef! So I highly recommend this place!Parking: Depending on the time you go, may be an issue to find parking on the main road, if that's the case, I assure you that you will be able to find parking on the side roads.
