Gerbasi Ristorante - BRONX

Loved the early dinner at Gerbasi. The staff is super friendly. The food is delicious. They clearly put a lot if effort in designing specials. Back open patio is an added bonus.

Never eat here. The owner is the worst. We had a large group and when they could not seat us on time we lost a few people. He would not adjust the bill. He also initially charged way more than the agreed amount. We asked to at least take home the mealswe paid for and he also refused. Never eat here. Just not how you do business. So many better options on Arthur Ave.

It probably used to be nice. They have a yard in back where you can eat. Bolognese sauce was good. Pizza may as well have been from a box at the supermarket. Backyard was very run down metal lanterns that just need some glue or screws hanging down.Strangely out of place orange chairs and poor paint choices added to the poor decor. Service was good.

Very seldom am I to write a review but this is honestly the most friendlest down to earth italian place I've ever been to. I've been going here since I was 12 years old and experienced many of my formative experiences dining at this place. Currently thisis my go-to place in case I need to have a business dinner, casual lunch with friends, etc. I cannot recommend this place andthe owner, Moisés (who started as a chef) enough. Truly a place that embodies what it is like to experience the American dream.

Visited from Montreal and absolutely loved this restaurant. Had the Pollo a la Chef, which was described as a fancy chicken parm. Every bite was extremely flavorful and you can tell the quality in the ingredients. Our waiter George gave the bestservice I've ever had at a restaurant who even provided history about the neighborhood. If it's nice outside, I'd highlyrecommend to sit in their back patio. It's a nice area of privacy and well set up for your experience.
