The Potting Shed - Bromsgrove

I visited here today with an elderly friend of mine. It was my first time visiting but I had heard alot about the place from others. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and was packed out, we were very lucky to find a table which was the last one that was free. We both wanted a lunch option but my friend wanted something off the special board, it was 1140 and they don't serve these meals till 12 so we decided to wait before ordering which was fine with the staff. We both had a pot of tea which came in a lovely white teapot and was served with a teacup and saucer. The tea was lovely and of a good quality. 12oclock soon came round and I went and ordered out meals. I had the jacket potato and cheese and my friend had a lamb kofta burger and chips. We weren't waiting long before the meals arrived. They were presented on big white plates and there was plenty of food. My jacket potato was cooked to perfection and came with salad and a homemade coleslaw which was very creamy. The lamb kofta burger was served with chips and salad. The chips were very chunky and not greasy and were cooked to perfection. The staff here are very attentive and friendly even though they were ran off their feet. Tables quickly filled up when people left so I could quickly tell that it is a very popular establishment. Everything was very clean and they did a good variety of food on there menus. I will definitely be going back but next time I will indulge in the afternoon tea which looked amazing. Especially the homemade scones which were the biggest I'd ever seen. I highly recommend this place lunch and even though we didn't have the breakfast menu I imagine that the breakfast on offer will just be as good.

Went into for breakfast with my friends on Sunday 14.1.24 at 9.30 received very poor service by the assistant was rude and abrupt got our breakfast order wrong and then blamed me. We walked out and she was not be bit bothered didn’t try and rescue a lost sale was totally not bothered.

Lovely spot for afternoon tea just before the Christmas celebrations start. Very nice butties and cakes, pleasant atmosphere and well looked after.

I only recently found out about Singletons and even more recently found out about this beautiful little cafe. Excellent food and coffees. Cosy and clean space with lovely Christmas decorations right next to the cute little shop. The staff were so friendly. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

We had a fabulous Afternoon Tea celebration for 15 of us for my Best Friend's Hannah's Baby Shower. Ellen and the team at The Potting Shed were extremely friendly and helpful and gave an excellent all round service. The food, venue and warm atmosphere was perfect in every way. So much food included in the afternoon tea- I would highly recommend. Ellen also allowed me to bring in my own finishing touches to the venue which I was really grateful for. Thank you to you all x
