The Boat Shack - Bromsgrove

What a absolutely perfect place to visit .. Not only great food and company but live music on the weekend .. If I was you I would keep eye on this place .. Me and my partner will definitely and definitely again be going back..x

One of the best places i,ve visited, right from walking in the door staff are friendly, you can sit inside or out. Fantastic view over the lake . Burgers are really nice, cappuccino is excellent cokes are cold. also a great venue for bands to play.

I don't understand the few negative reviews! What more could people want? The Boat Shack offers a stunning location with views of the lake and countryside, surrounded by happy people enjoying the activities. The outdoor seating is perfect for soaking in the atmosphere on nice days, and the interior is tastefully decorated with something to catch the eye everywhere you look. Nick, the owner, is a wonderful host and his staff are just as welcoming. The service is excellent, with high quality food and drinks to choose from. The live music events are a treat for music lovers. I have never seen anyone unhappy at the cafe - in fact, quite the opposite. I highly recommend the Boat Shack. Give it a try and see for yourself.

I had a burger approx £9) poor value. Crisps instead of chips but still restaurant price. My daughter assured the milk shakes were dear £4.50ish) but really good. Yes she was correct they were dear but instead of a lovely chocolate milkshake it tasted like someone had dumped chocolate sauce, covered it with milk then squirted on cream and covered it with hundreds and thousands and m m look alikes. To call it a chocolate milkshake was fantasy. More like a sugar rush.

The restaurant is in a wonderful location, but the young staff lacked training in customer service. They were inattentive and rude. Additionally, they were using paper plates and plastic cutlery in a beautiful nature reserve. There is room for improvement in providing better service and using more sustainable materials. It's all about the simple basics.
