Bidrage med feedbackGood spot for sport, watched the darts in good company and atmosphere, drinks not too pricey and quick service
Great atmosphere in here for the sport on saturday, 2 for £7 cocktails and friendly can’t go wrong. Can also bring pets!!
Honestly some of the friendliness staff I've ever met, wonderful food and a great atmosphere. Perfect beers.
Nathan the new manager has made a great difference to this pub. Everywhere is cleaner including the loos. Service is very punctual and efficient even though on a busy Sunday it was only Nathan and Catherine serving. The layout had been changed to make a better use of the space which is more beneficial for customers. Pool and darts are now to one side, football with volume in the middle and one end and dining, with no volume football and music, at the other end. There is a large inviting garden. The tables and seats are so much better laid out. Pool is free Monday evenings, first game free on others. There is a multiple phone charger. Two beautiful features are the mirrors taken from Marie Lloyd’s dressing room at her music hall where she performed for decades before she died in 1922. 100,000 people went to her funeral. You can read all about her on an adjacent poster. There is a good range of ales and beers. Cocktails are on offer at 2 for £7. The menus look great. I can’t wait to try a Sunday roast sometime.
Food took a while to be served and was given out in bursts to the group rather than all together. Items kept being reported as out of stock. The pool table out of service was a bit annoying too as that's why we turned up However the saviour of the day was Harri. Nothing was too much trouble , took our order perfectly (even with multiple people changing their minds several times! and brought everything over with a super smile and amazingly cheery attitude even for a Sunday afternoon and having to work solo with a bunch of rowdy lads turning up!
