Mae Ping Thai - BROMLEY

We allowed 2 hours as we were going to a concert we needed every minute for a simple two course meal. Very slow service. Mushroom (probably three and broccoli (two florets? side dish was £6.95 seriously! On the bill was a £30 bottle of wine which was not ours. No indication of surprise or any apology when I queried it. An error no doubt. Knocked off the 12.5% service. I felt sorry for the waitress who had to come and ask us if everything was OK and whether they could do anything better. Where should I start. We left some cash for the waiter/waitress. Not recommended. Won't go again.

The food and service at this restaurant are consistently excellent. While the prices may be a bit high, the quality of the food justifies it. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. The flavors of the dishes are exceptional.

I used to frequent this restaurant for years, but since it changed ownership, the quality has declined. The service was poor, with no one checking on us or offering more drinks. The staff seemed unhappy. The food was decent, but they wouldn't accommodate a few changes we requested to our platter, which the previous owners would have allowed. Adding a 12.5% service charge to the bill is ridiculous! The service was subpar, and customers should have the choice to tip. The temperature in the restaurant was cold and uncomfortable, losing the cozy atmosphere it used to have. Sadly, I will not be returning to this restaurant, despite our long history of patronage.

We have dined at this restaurant three times now, and it has been outstanding on every occasion. Despite reading negative reviews about cold food and poor service, we have never experienced this. The food is delicious and of high quality, with the Massaman curry being our favorite dish. We highly recommend this restaurant!
