Last time I was here was in 1998. Still serving great tasting, cooked when ordered food. No sitting in tubs of fat or left baking under a heater lamp, fresh out the fryer and into a box. Yummy. Great fish, tasty chips and fantastic chicken all for excellent value and generous portion sizes. Easily the best takeaway for miles around and will definitely be coming again. Now most likely to be our new go to for takeaways! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice chips. Go at lunch time so you can get Chicken Nuggets and chips for £4.90 cheaper than dinner time. With the £4.90 it comes with a drink as well. Definitely worth the money. The burgers are decent but very pricey. Go at lunchtime at about 1155-1215 absolutely quiet inside and about a 5-15 minute wait due to the freshness of the chips and the sides you can get. You have to queue but that's because they only cook fresh and for good reason. When it arrives the chips are crisp on the outside, fluffy in the middle. The fish just melts in the mouth and the batter!! you really need to try it to understand how good it is
