Nakhon Thai - Brockville

Pad thai and green curry huh. we're here for the date night. I had always had great eating at the visit and my fiancée said it was the best pad thai she ever had. we will go back.

A very small, but very welcoming restaurant, the decor is what catches her eye first when she in. you smell it! I ordered the crispy chicken and brokkoli with a side of kokosreis, eating did not take long to arrive, the server was very friendly and made a great task at all tables. the eating tasted just as good as it looked! total great experience and I will definitely come back!

We went for all they can eat lunch buffet and man it was good! a much better experience than a go out (Thai food should be eaten fresh! the restaurant was very nice inside and super clean. our server aaron was excellent! I would recommend it! 5 stars for the buffet safe! the flavors were beautiful, but the extensions were smaller than expected. I would say that parts are about 2/3 what they should be.

The food was fantastic! we had crispy pork with noodles and rice. the sweet was crispy and fresh. it was delicious. our server was a fantastic young man and very helpful! if they live in or around brockville, this is a must go to restaurant. there is also a love story associated with this restaurant that they need to visit to find out what it is!

I appreciated the authenticity of the place from the servers to the decors present. The short history of the founding of the restaurant was also available on the menu board. It was such a quick, good read. Right at the start, I love how hospitable they were in accommodating our seating request. We were a large group of 8 people with 1 baby so we needed 2 tables joined together. After pulling out a potted plant decor, we were able to have the 2 tables joined next to each other. We were tired from the long day by the time we arrived at Nakkon Thai so we just went with the Combos options. We chose D3 Combo (4-6 people) and added a couple more dishes. The quantity of the combo meal may have already been sufficient for 8 people not looking to eat a lot. The food was served fast, and we did not have to wait too long. That is as far as to the positive things I have to say of the place. The food was good, but not the best. I have tasted spicier (not hot), creamier, and more flavourful Thai dishes from other Thai restaurants. The curry sauce was not as thick and strong flavoured as I have come to expect for a Thai restaurant. I also would have loved it if the Tom Kha Chicken Soup was a little more hot sour.
