Yum Yum By George, México

This is one of my go-to spots in Playa for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I love sitting out on the sidewalk and watching the action. The service is always spot-on. I love their Panang curry and garlic naan!

My goodness, outstanding food and drinks, friendly staff, but could not seem to get their act together. Everyone in the family was highly pleased with the dishes presented. They were beautiful and tasted as good as they looked. Spice levels were tame for family members who like it that way, but the restaurant is pretty shy about spices even when you ask then to take it up a few notches, Odd for a Thai Indian place. The drawback came with timing. The bottle of wine to be enjoyed with dinner did not come until almost all were done with their plates. Because we were lingering over wine at the end of the meal we decided to order a simple desert, and that took a solid 1 2 hour to make it to us. By that time the wine was gone, the family was cold, and the kids were done. Left us a little dissatisfied after some really good food.
