The Room - Broad Channel

This is a pub-type venue… you'd call it a gastropub in the UK. It gets very noisy and crowded, but many people like that.

Almost missed this. Lovely for a drink and snack in the evening.

I chose to try this eatery for the first time after driving by it multiple times. I've tried a lot of various steakhouses in NYC, and this one did not dissapoint. Excellent food and service were provided. The oysters were new. The filet mignon was grilled to medium-rare perfection. Desert was tasty. The restaurant had a typical New York steakhouse atmosphere. I'll return at some point!
