Taqueria Tlaxcalli - Broad Channel

This has got to be one of my favorite Mexican food spots in NYC. I first came here in 2012 and the flavors are still as good as i remember it. I drive from Queens and its always worth it. The place is tiny but really quaint. The decor is charming and traditional. The staff is so kind and super attentive. Their guacamole is fresh and delicious. The homemade chips are some of the best. Customer service has gone down. Taco salad was 20.67 with 6 strimps and mix greens. Extra charge for salad dressing. Didn’t even add cheese or items in menu. Just mix greens carrots and taco shell.

I used to LUH this place. PROs: 1. WESTCHESTER Sqr Restaurant is clean, spacious friendly. 2. The food is so good especially, ALL-DAY BREAKFAST, Taco Tues dessert] CONs: 1. Menu kinda pricey 2. Food looked appealing but gave me and my friend diarrhea and a stomach ache after having sopes de chorizo, ans tacos de al pastor. My friend is Mexican so she eats this daily and I eat Mexican on a daily basis. Very dissapointing

I’ve moved to the Bx in 2015 and instantly discovered this gem in the middle of Parkchester. I have never been disappointed well I have when I call and their closed!! My favorite is the Guacamole.
